Coastal and Aquatic Systems Ltd was established in 1998 to provide specialist advice on marine and freshwater ecological research, monitoring, and assessment. Areas of expertise are:

•  Programme reviews and audits
•  Algal production and biochemistry.

A key strength of CAS is the collaborative association with ASR Ltd (www.asrltd.co.nz) for all ecological-based projects, so as to broaden the level of expertise available to our clients. Accordingly, we have developed a close association with the University of Auckland's Leigh Laboratory (www.auckland.ac.nz/leigh) and have full access to labs and literature and are continually kept up-to-date with current research.
